Club Improvements

I have just been advised by the council that we are expecting some improvement works to take place on the existing footpath and stairs access at our club! And 2-3 weeks after completion there will be a brand new stair rail installed! This is a great result and a true sign that our club progress is really taking shape! Thankyou to Banyule City Council for providing us with this upgrade! The upgrade works will occur over the course of a week from the 10th November to the 14th November. I have been advised there should be no interruption to access to the clubrooms or courts.

ERT Saturday Morning Volunteers

And whilst I have your attention we are always looking for volunteers, however this time non committee ad hoc volunteers. As my kids are now trying out little athletics on Saturday mornings, it means that I can no longer hold the fort at the cafe. The cafe with the support of Coffee MIO as well as the BBQ with free bread from Were St Bakers Delight Montmorency has been an integral part of our income success and means that much of the money goes straight to the club!

As a way to make it easier to volunteer, I am trialling the use of teamapp. inside the events section of teamapp (https://yallambietennisclub.teamapp.com/clubs/37609/events?_list=v1) you will find the dates of the ERT competition. Each of those events has a duty roster where you can assign yourself to volunteer. This is completely ad hoc based so you will only be volunteering for that one occassion! For any takers who are new to the cafe, I am more than happy to help get you set up and running, and teach you the art of making delicious coffee! And for anyone that can help BBQ, thanks to a recent grant we will have a new BBQ very soon to make things easier for everyone!
